This is my first post ever! I am completely new to blogging and am not completely sure what I am doing. I am not always grammatically correct and am not anticipating people to actually read my blog. Then why am I doing this? You ask; well I am doing this as I feel it is necessary to have some form of outlet to speak about my passions. However few my passions may be I do have them. I love technology, have played around with coding a little across multiple platforms on macs, pcs, mobile and even web. I enjoy learning new things about technology but I feel as though without some outlet to speak about it my stamina and drive will be lacking. Therefore I have decided to create a blog, which I can use to just talk to myself about it. While I know I can accomplish this same thing with a diary or journal, I have decided to go with a blog as I feel that keeping it public will help to keep me on the right path. Am I really expecting to get any real feedback from people, nope. I am expecting to keep myself to a certain standard and help to maintain motivation and focus on what has always been a real passion and hobby; but has always been an issue when it comes to focus. My hope is that writing this blog ever so often will help me to stay focused and on track and push me to continue learning new things at a steady pace.

Currently I am learning to play around with this WordPress blog but soon I hope to play around with some swift programming on my MacBook. I am not sure when as I will need to come up with a project to work on to give me some direction and a challenge to learn. I will probably setup a home-lab in order to have a private git implementation and then integrate this with Xcode so that I can have version management for my code. I will also need to choose a direction whether it be making a game or a business solution such as a clone of some current tool used by businesses like budgeting software albeit extremely simplified. And finally I will need to document these things as I do them in order to keep myself driven and motivated to complete these tasks.
