As a goal, I will still try to set aside an hour each day to work on this blog, and create posts. I may not be able to spend as much time as I would like on this project, but I am still managing to continue adding to it little by little each day.

Not much new to report. I’ve been listening to YouTube videos on python and git as I work. I decided that starting with python would likely be easier, as it has a much more robust community and presence online in tutorials and getting started. This would also allow me to continue using my tablet with GitHub as GitHub has an IDE built in. I have begun to listen to videos about GitHub and have a better understanding of what it is, how it works, and why it works.

I will continue to focus on learning git and using python to create some smaller beginner projects. Although, I started a 16 hour long YouTube video of Harvard’s CS50’s programming with python. I was able to listen to about 30 minutes before it was interrupted. However, it did seem very good and assumes no prior coding knowledge. I am beginning my python learning journey with this course, and will see if there are any course materials meant to be used alongside it, such as textbooks, or quizzes, and assignments. I’ll look into doing those while listening to this, and other courses.

This week I have enrolled on edX in the Harvard’s CS50s Introduction to Programming with Python. I have completed week 0 and have started on week 1.
